Our Collective Love Towards Salvation

Introduction

The following intuitive theory can be summarized as being an illustration of the saving power of love. This theory arose from an insight that I derived after reading Dr. Wayne Dyer’s book There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem and Dr. James Finley’s Christian Meditation: Experiencing the Presence of God. This speculative theory connects to an experiment that I ran in an Experimental Psychology class at the University of Wisconsin. The experiment set out to better understand how to facilitate our human language memory. The experiment found that language memory could be best facilitated by combining written word rehearsal while using action/emotion words. Human language memory is one of the highest human functions that we possess. It is one of the most important things that make us uniquely human.

In Dr. Dyer’s book he talks about how when we approach our higher spiritual state that we are actually functioning at a higher energy level. I have personally found that Christian meditation is also beneficial for building a higher level of spirituality. I personally feel that we have a collective level of spiritual energy as a human race. I feel like a harmonious atmosphere of love raises our collective energy level.

It is thought that when Jesus Christ returns that he will bring his people to heaven through the “rapture”. Some people feel that at this time we will be transformed to our everlasting heavenly bodies. Many also feel that these spiritualized bodies will have a higher energy component.

So part of my thought that is further illustrated in the following theory is: why not build a climate of love in this world in order to make our passage to heaven more conducive? Jesus is all powerful though, I realize, and this is really all in God’s hands. We are saved by Grace still but why not be pleasing to God and try to build a more intense atmosphere of harmonious love in anticipation of his coming?

I ran an experiment in my University of Wisconsin Experimental Psychology Class a few years ago that was an effort to explore the best means of improving language memory functioning, but I also believe that my experiment can be related to the spiritual energy of love in a very interesting way. There have been a number of recent fascinating and exciting developments in this field of study, including some work done right here at the University of Wisconsin.

In my experiment, I found that verbalizing and writing down phrases that contained action and/or emotional words resulted in improved language memory functioning as opposed to more passive means of memorization methods (such as silent reading of neutral types of words, which proved to be a poorer method of memorization). The above mentioned types of words and memory activities (using action and emotion) carry with them a greater level of mental energy, thus they make a more indelible imprint on our memories. Activity and emotion are the important basic elements in our earliest learning and cognitive impressions and these key elements continue on into adulthood as the most direct and vivid way for us to learn.

Through the above mentioned type of practice, I believe that a person can improve their language memory functioning and thus increase their general higher process functioning. Thinking and emotions are really forms of mental energy when they are considered in their purest forms. (Singing and listening to music (I believe) are also beneficial towards building our (common, loving) energy as well). Singing and listening to music usually has a strong emotional component to it and it can connect with us spiritually too.

Our higher (abstract) abilities (such as our language memory) are closely associated with our spiritual selves, which are found at an even higher abstract energy level than our thought and our emotional energy levels. Our spiritual selves are in part formed and fed by our thinking processes and by our emotions.

The combination of this language memory function elevation and along with the promotion of a more cooperative, peaceful and loving type of emotionally oriented social world community, (I believe), can help us work toward an overall elevation of our collective loving spiritual energy.

I believe that our interpersonal loving support and our loving music helps raise our spiritual selves to a higher (energy) level too. Other important positive contributors to a high spiritual energy level are our often emotionally oriented prayers, meditation and fellowship. These activities all connect with our emotions in a very vibrant way. So what is so interesting about raising our collective level of loving spiritual energy, you may be asking.

Christ is the key to all of this, but I believe that we can help the general process along towards the advent of the coming rapture. (We anticipate the day when this event does happen at God the Father’s appointed time.)

This higher level of spiritual energy that can be attained (I believe) is much more easily transported by the means of Christ’s help to our heavenly home. (Energy is more easily transported than the slower vibrating material mass, such as our physical bodies.)

This higher spiritual energy vibrates at a higher, more rapid rate. With Christ’s help (I believe) we can make it easier to be able to spiritualize and transform our bodies for our heavenly journey to our beautiful destination. (Energy is more easily transported than is the slower vibrating material mass.) I believe that our digital global village will also facilitate this amazing event through a sort of collective harmonization of our love.

Quantum physics and the theory of relativity may partly shed some light on this amazing, hoped for transformation and our rapturous transportation.

When our spiritual energy level rises (E=Energy), our bodily energy may also rise (M=Mass), which means that our overall energy level would rise too. Hopefully, with this higher spiritual energy level our heavenly destination can soon be in sight. ((C2) Represents the speed of light squared). I realize that this part is quite a logical leap of faith in this theory.

Part of the inspiration for this insight was derived from a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer called: There is a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem. In this book he describes our spiritual selves as the highest energy level for our being and that we can strive to be at this higher level. (He describes spirit as a high vibrational energy level.) I also found Dr. James Finley’s Christian Meditation-Experiencing the Presence of God to be helpful and inspirational as well. I have done a fairly extensive literature review on language memory too.
