Hi, I filed a DRO earlier this year and receive Employment and Support allowance. At the time of filing the DRO I was getting the lower rate (65 per week). I have recently received about 1400 for backdated ESA at the higher rate. However my concern is that some of this relates to a period of about 6 months before I filed the DRO and also it makes my assets go over the 350 threshold. I’m 6 months into the DRO and I don’t want to have it revoked just because I’ve received money that I was entitled to just because they’ve awarded it in a lump sum. Will they revoke my DRO or would I have to pay some over to my creditors? Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks. ps. (The extra 26 per week higher rate money doesn’t push my monthly disposable income over the 50 limit although they don’t have my up to date budget which proves this).””
